About Green Island
Green Island is a 6000 year old coral cay, 27 km (17 miles) off the coast of Cairns the Island is a National Park, part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park World Heritage area.
Green Island is approximately 12 hectares in size and unique in that it has a rainforest and reef environment.
Green Island is 1 of 300 coral cays that are part of the Great Barrier Reef and its the only cay that has a rainforest
