Let’s Go Buggin’ Night tour! It is the ideal two-hour walking nature trip with photography in small groups.
After dusk, the rainforest’s enchantment awakens and greets you with a symphony of frog croaks and the glitter of a million eyes.
Those interested in tiny creatures can use their cameras to photograph a variety of tiny marvels. You will receive assistance and mentoring from renowned macro photographer Bridgette Gower of Cairns. Furthermore, you will also have the opportunity to marvel at the Cairns Botanic Gardens at night!
What will I see on this night tour?
During this bug tour, you might encounter different frogs, such as Northern Stony Creek frogs and White-lipped tree frogs, all kinds of spiders, such as Spiders with mirror-balls and Huntsman,
Moths, crickets, beetles, and stick insects are examples of nocturnal insects. We may encounter tiny bats, possums with stripes, bandicoots, and more!
Alternatively, maybe the wonderous tree fungi inspire you! With Bridgette’s guidance, you can capture stunning snaps on your nature walk.
First, after meeting your guide Bridgette at the Cairns Botanic Gardens, you will commence a walk through the Gardens where Bridgette will show you the hidden wonders. The walking route is adapted to the Seasons so may vary, meaning no 2 walks will be the same! If you let Bridgette know your interests, she will adapt the walks to find those little critters you have been searching for!
