But that’s not all—immerse yourself further by strolling along the rainforest boardwalks to reach scenic lookouts or joining one of the ranger-guided tours. And don’t miss a visit to the CSIRO Interpretation Station, where you can delve deeper into the fascinating world of the rainforest. Kuranda Scenic Railway

Kuranda Scenic Railway

Your adventure culminates with the iconic Kuranda Scenic Railway, one of Australia’s most picturesque train journeys. Step aboard and relax in the original, refurbished carriages as you wind your way back to Cairns through the heart of the rainforest.

The history of this railway is as fascinating as the journey itself, with its construction dating back to the 1880s. The railway was crucial in connecting miners from the west to the coastal city of Cairns. Today, it remains a top-rated attraction, offering tourists a glimpse into the region’s rich history and natural wonders.
