A Taste of Nature and Culture

Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience

Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience

Your Rainforestation Nature Park adventure begins with the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in the world’s oldest surviving culture. Local dancers will captivate you with Dreamtime stories and share the art of boomerang and spear-throwing. This delightful performance provides a window into the rich Aboriginal heritage that has thrived in this land for thousands of years.

For the younger ones, the Pamagirri mini mob offers a chance to learn the didgeridoo and even paint a PVC didgeridoo to take home. This interactive experience is a fantastic way for children to engage with and learn about Indigenous culture.

Koala and Wildlife Park

Prepare for the ultimate koala experience at Rainforestation’s Koala and Wildlife Park. Join the keepers for a 30-minute koala encounter where you can meet these adorable marsupials up close. It’s a perfect opportunity to take incredible photos and learn fascinating facts about koalas.

But the adventure doesn’t stop at Koalas. Explore the diverse Australian wildlife, including dingoes, Tasmanian devils, estuarine crocodiles, cassowaries, and tree kangaroos. Make new friends with a wombat, a Lumholtz tree kangaroo, and an eastern water dragon, and don’t forget to hand-feed the friendly wallabies and kangaroos.
