This tour combines two of the regions most popular tours both the historic Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway gondola over the rainforest. Let the adventure begin.
Kuranda Scenic Train
The Kuranda Scenic Train winds through the Kuranda Range for 37km. Your 90-minute journey will take you through tunnels, past steep ravines and cascading waterfalls within Barron Gorge National Park.
Sit back and relax while you take in the views while listening to the audio commentary explaining the unique history of the building of this historic railway line.
The Skyrail
Not only beautiful but sustainable too! Skyrail is an excellent example of ecotourism.
Specifically engineered for breathtaking views, there’s no better way to see the rainforest! As the Skyrail takes you high above the canopy, your view over the rainforest will be completely unrestricted.
Stop off at not one but two different stations to explore the rainforest from the ground.
Red Peak Station provides a beautiful walk along a boardwalk through the trees. Barron Falls Station provides a spectacular view of the famous Barron River Waterfalls.
07.45am approximately Your tour starts with a pick up from right outside your hotel.
Then, it’s off to to the train station first.
After the train, you arrive in the rainforest village of Kuranda.
Here you’ll have free time to explore the region further.
Visit the historic Kuranda markets, the Butterfly Sanctuary or Koala Gardens, all at your own pace.
Then return over the rainforest your journey on the breathtaking Skyrail begins.
At the base of the Skyrail cableway, you will meet your driver and air-conditioned coach, which will take you back to your hotel.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to re-schedule or alter all or part of a reservation.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
20% cancellation fee 30 days or more prior to departure
50% cancellation fee if within 30 days prior to departure
100% cancellation fee within 14 days prior to departure
There will be no refund of any part of your tour costs should you fail to arrive at a scheduled tour departure time. Tour departures may not be delayed due to passenger circumstances - including events beyond your control, medical problems, airline delays, weather etc.
