Soar high over the Reef for a breathtaking Great Barrier Reef Scenic Reef Flight
This 30 minutes Great Barrier Reef Flight is a fantastic way to discover the Great Barrier Reef.
Taking off from Cairns this flight will fly over the Cairns Northern beaches and Port Douglas
During your flight, you will also see over 140 kilometres of the Outer Barrier as well as many inner islands, reefs and sand cays including Green Island, Arlington Reef, Outer Reef, Vlasoff Cay, Michaelmas Cay.
The beauty with this Scenic Reef Flight is that it is one of fastest in transit out to the Reef (only taking approx 4-5 mins to arrive at the Outer Reef) which means you get more time taking in the scenery of the Great Barrier Reef.
Spot marine life
A big highlight of this tour is marine life spotting. From June to September, humpback whales migrate to the Great Barrier Reef to have their young. During this time the whales are easily visible from the air. On any normal day, you will have the chance to see Manta Rays, Sharks, large Green Sea Turtles and Dugong.
Australia’ Great Barrier Reef is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This flight offers spectacular views of the reef.
