Nearby to the Vasey Esplanade, there is a beach shop selling all kinds of things for the beach.  A few streets back from the beach, you will find Trinity Beach Shopping Centre, with a grocery store and a few other retail shops.


North Queensland has fantastic markets offering a range of tropical produce, local coffee, art and jewellery.


The 3.4-kilometre walk up Earl Hill is steep and quite challenging but well worth the effort for the breathtaking views from the top.

Fishing and golf are both available nearby.  Visit Palm Cove and Port Douglas.  Take the Cairns Skyrail to Kuranda and take a day tour to see the Daintree Rainforest..

Hire a car, visit the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, and sample some of North Queensland’s finest produce.  Take a shower under a magnificent waterfall and a refreshing dip in a crater lake.
